Safety issues in your Department

-Being the head of many departments, the primary safety issues include fire containment and theft. My work as an ambassador would be to make sure the company fire code is updated and CCTV cameras installed in order to curb theft.

Change in Onboarding Experience

-In terms of my onboarding experience, I would change my colleagues’ attitude that made me feel like an outsider. Teamwork and respect are essential aspects in the workplace for creating a conducive environment for everyone to thrive.

I prefer training in the English language. Since Amazon dominates the West of America, it would be logical to be trained in the English language.

The employee of the month is one of the integral tips that help in rating the performance of an employee in any department. An employee of the month indicates credible work ethic, good teamwork and signs of being a departmental head. Another tip is a promoted employee into a department head. This kind of rating that includes the level of employee department asserts that the higher the level, the credible the rate of any department.

Working at Amazon

Working at Amazon is not only a dream come true; it enables one to have a purpose of serving, especially during these trying times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since it is an online shopping platform, it empowers an employee with the feeling of doing a work of purpose that empowers people in need that cannot move from a physical place to another.

Helping a Peer

During my senior year during the summer, I came across a War Veteran that was in a wheelchair and struggled with crossing a road. Knowing him as Mr Robinson that served three tours in Iraq, I helped him cross the road and ended up attending his class of war amputees. This enabled me to understand the broader perspective of the survival of human beings.

Prior Management Experience

The head of the support group learnt of my doing in term of supporting my war veteran. Out of the fourteen sessions that I attended with my neighbour, I managed four of them, hence gaining management experience.

• I am the firstborn of six siblings in a predominantly black family. I want to stress that this should not be used as an excuse to gain access to your campus but to show the struggles that I went through to defy and live against all odds to be a member and employee of Amazon Logistics. I have immense faith that this is bound to be my ultimate career towards my destination.
