The first occupation recommended to explore is a Museum Technician and Conservator
A (1) occupation from the list of recommended Occupations to Explore that you deem as “the best fit.”
The second occupation to explore from the test I deem the best fit is an urban and regional planner.
Your occupation (1) of choice
Lastly, an occupation of choice that I may want to explore is an automotive engineer.
- Why those careers may have been at the top of your occupation results
The three careers may have been on top of my list based on my interests and abilities. A number one key reason why the three careers appeared at the top of my list is that it was evident that I am realistic. The test showed that I was interested in activities that will suit me to be a Museum Technician and Conservator, urban and region planner, and automotive engineer. All three careers significantly require a technical person, where such skills will help solve problems by using practical and structured solutions. Another reason why the three occupations may have appeared on top of my list is since I tend to be investigative. I have a significant interest in activities that entail analyzing and investigating physical, biological, or cultural happenings. For a Museum Technician and Conservator, this is a skill that would be highly recommended. I would mainly work towards evaluating past issues and recordings, which will help in understanding history and artifacts more.
On the other hand, for an urban and regional planner, similar skills are required to help in solving problems through thinking, gathering information, and performing detailed analysis on issues related to urban and development challenges in a specific region. Finally, it is manifest that I have extraordinary artistic abilities. I am interested in physical, verbal, or human materials to create art, products, or communication. Creative skills are vital in all three top careers because they make one confident in language and communication and help solve problems through intuition, expressiveness, and originality. This hence proves why the three chosen careers are at the top of my occupation results.

Primary work tasks
The career entails restoration, maintenance, and preparation of objects in a museum collection for research, storage, and exhibition. The profession also entails working with specimens such as artifacts, fossils, skeletal parts, and or any form of art (My Majors, 2020). A museum technician will also be required to identify and record objects or install and arrange them in exhibits.
The suitable college major
The career may require a four-year bachelor’s degree in history, art history, archeology, and any other related field (US Bureu of labor Statitics, 2017). A master’s degree in a related field may also be an added advantage for some organizations.

The primary benefit of this occupation is that one can constantly learn about history and art and, with time, expand the knowledge in the field. However, a fundamental limitation of this project is that information regarding art or history may continuously change, hence requiring one to constantly redeem themselves through undertaking more education and having to further studies in the field.

My current major well fits with the occupation because it entails creativity and further studying to understand more about different issues.

Primary work tasks
The first role of an urban and region planner is to review site plans which developers submit. He also develops land use plans and programs which aid in creating communities and accommodating population growth (MCKAY, 2019). He also works towards revitalizing physical facilities for cities, towns, and metropolitan areas.

The most suitable college major for an urban planner is a bachelor’s degree in urban planning or environmental design (US Bureu of labor Statistics, 2020). Many urban planners have a master’s degree from an accredited urban or regional planning program.

My current major will fit with this occupation since it entails critical thinking, which is vital for urban planning.

An automotive engineer designs, develops, and manufactures vehicles such as buses, motorbikes, cars, and engineering systems (Prospects, 2021). He helps in the development and designing of new products and, in some cases, also modifies those currently in use. He can also be used in solving engineering problems.

The current major well suits the occupation since it includes being creative and using the learned skills in ensuring that the goals and objectives of such occupation are met.
Conclusion
From the exploration process, I have managed to learn a lot about my skills and abilities. I learned that I am critical thinking and that I am a creative person, which I can further use to explore my abilities in my future career. From the information learned, I will therefore advance my knowledge and learn more to increase my knowledge and use my skills to better the world I live in.
