OVERVIEW
Keller (2014) states “we must love our neighbor, but Christianity gives us very specific teachings about human nature and what makes human beings flourish. We must make sure that our work is done in line with these understandings. Faithful work, then, is to operate out of a Christian Worldview” (p. 21).
The different Christian traditions “give somewhat different answers of how we should go about the task of recapturing vocation. The streams are often confusing to Christians, for they are not perfectly complementary to one another” (Keller, 2014, p.21).
We are going to reflect on some of these sentiments that Keller introduces in Every Good Endeavor.

Then you will reflect on the prompt from Keller’s book in light of this article by answering the question associated with the particular prompt in the module. Every Good Endeavor Prompt

According to Keller, people flourish at work when they work in line with God’s deeds. They also need to have a better understanding of the world to live in the best way possible.  There is a need to work diligently and have faith in their operations as they trust in flourishing through God’s majesty and power.  According to Keller the Christian’s view of faith should have a healthy relationship with work (Keller & Alsdorf, 2014).  There is a need for Christians to work hard, and complement one another perfectly and follow all the doctrines of Christianity in their day-to-day activities.

However, as of now many people are ignoring what is expected of them, and fail to have faith as they work and do what is required of them.  They also fail to work according to God’s instructions, hence are unable to lie according to what God has taught people (THE CHRISTIAN SCHOLAR, 2014).  They also in many instances fail to work diligently and are in disregard of what Jesus Christ has taught about working and observing moral ethics.

According to Keller’s text, there is a need for everyone to maximize their potential on earth, which will mean working smartly and hard as a way of using God’s given talents, which they can then motivate and help the lesser privileged in the society.  According to the Bible, everyone has been given a talent that he/she should utilize while serving his time on earth (Keller & Alsdorf, 2014). One of the ways of utilizing talent is working hard to make as much money as possible. The Bible also requires all humans to help each other and be kind to one another. Making money and using it to help others will hence be in line with the Biblical teachings and ensure that God’s given talents are usefully being used to make the world a better place.
