Increasing the amount of fiber in a diet

Fibers prevent constipation in the human body (Morozov et.al, 2018). One of the ways by which you can increase fiber in your diet is by including vegetables in most of your meals (Morozov et.al, 2018). Vegetables have a lot of fiber. You can also increase the number of fibers in your diet by eating whole grains instead of those grains that have been refined (Morozov et.al, 2018). You may also consider taking supplements that contain fiber if the amount of fiber in your food is very low (Morozov et.al, 2018). The last way by which you can increase fibers in the diet is by eating fruits (Morozov et.al, 2018).

Difference between saturated and unsaturated fatty acids.

Saturated fatty acids are those that are made up of carbon and do not contain any double bond in their structure while unsaturated fatty acids are those that contain either one bond or more unlike saturated which do not have a double bond (Briggs et.al, 2017).

Uses of proteins in the body.

Growth and repair; proteins are needed by the body for growth to occur and also for the repair of worn-out tissues (Pelosi et.al, 2018). This is why proteins are termed bodybuilding foods. The hair, the eyes, and all the other body parts are made by bodybuilding food. Children require a lot of energy because their growth occurs at a very high rate as compared to adults

Proteins are also used in the body to influence chemical reactions (Pelosi et.al, 2018). Enzymes that speed up the rate of chemical reactions in the body are proteins in nature. They control reactions that sustain the life of human beings. Most of the reactions in the body would not be successful without the enzymes (Pelosi et.al, 2018).

Proteins also take part in transportation. (Pelosi et.al, 2018). Transportation is carried out by hormones in the body. Some of the hormones are proteins.

Proteins also take part in fighting germs that cause diseases because they form antibodies (Pelosi et.al, 2018). These antibodies destroy antigens that cause diseases.
