Communication is essential in our everyday occupation as it helps us understand each other better. As health workers, there is a need for communication to be employed in the hospitals to understand each other and work together (Shaw 2019). The new skill set program, communication skills, will be rolled out to all the existing health workers in the organization. The program can motivate and retain quality employees since they will acquire skills that will enable them to voice out their grievances if they feel that something needs to change. In addition to the air of grievances, it will give them a chance to communicate with the patients better, leading to better medical attention to the patients(Chichirez & Purcărea ., 2018). This will motivate the employees since the patients will have maximum attention required and give positive feedback to them. Their issues will also be addressed, thus adding to their motivation.

The organization leverages workforce diversity to encourage employees to collaborate with other employees by giving them group tasks. These tasks are presented in groups of a set amount of workers irrespective of the level of the workers and the fields they take part in. all workers are treated as equal in these tasks like research tasks around the organization on trying to find out different required data. By this, they can apply their various talents, and they learn from one another in the process. This levels the playing field for all the employees.

The focus of the communication skill program is to equip the workers with new skills that they can employ in their line of work. It is to help them utilize the best practices in creating good communication with the patients, partners, and workforce in general (Chichirez & Purcărea., 2018). On top of the program, there will be issuing additional certificates and licensure for the workers to boost their work experience, which will, in turn, contribute to a good resume.

There will be a load of activities that the workers will be engaged in. they will be put into groups to discuss the various techniques of effective communication and practice among themselves (Jatoi ., 2020). They will also be allowed to ask any questions for clarity. The workers will be issued with media handouts to brief them about the program details. The media handouts will include the meeting agenda and the schedule. It will also have the required tools for the program, like a notebook or a device they can use for research once they are paired, like laptops or phones. The handouts will be issued before the program so that each member can be prepared or acknowledge their presence or absence. In addition to that, a DVD containing the pre-recorded videos of communication advisors from different hospitals will be played for them to see and compare with the facilitator.

In conclusion, the organization will put in place some measures to leverage the diversity of the workforce, like setting aside a day for all the workers to work together and intermingle with other workers (Chichirez & Purcărea., 2018). Also, organizing seminars for all workers will benefit the organization in that the workforce will develop strong teamwork and encourage each other leading to better results.
