Environmental Perspectives
How a person treats the environment is evaluated by how people view it. My perspective on the environment and everything linked with it has always been grouped into two categories, stewardship and utilitarianism. Stewardship approves that humans have a certain freedom and responsibility in line with their environment as stewards of nature. On the other hand, the utilitarian perspective outlines that the most significant things in life are contentment and happiness and nothing is more important than acknowledging these feelings.
My ethical perspective on the environment is that species and the whole ecosystem should be respected and embraced with much care. Animals have their rights which should be protected at every level. Several people and institutions advocate for animal rights and suggest that the boundaries of human moral considerations need to be extended to some animals. My culture embraces environmental rights and the general wellness of the environment. Several ecological protection groups and institutions operate together with the government to ensure every individual protects these rights. There is a tree planting day within the culture, which is a good gesture towards the environmental protection initiative.
My personal experience with the environment has created a deep understanding of the importance of protecting the environment and its contents. It performs critical roles in a person’s life, such as providing the food chain and shaping landscapes enjoyed by several people. These reasons, among others, make me want to conserve and protect the environment. (…… this for the last question).
