RE: Automation of all hospital functions and Introduction of mobile gadgets
This memo is to inform you of changes effective 1st October 2020 on the automation of all hospital functions.
The changes are as follows:
- Use of mobile tablets and laptops for sign sheets, patient check-up sheets and data entry.
- Use of food and drink ATMs in the cafeteria.
- Use of 360- angle cameras in hallways, parking lots and driveways.
In addition, all employees are expected to update their raw date using their new activated user accounts. Use of the hospital systems will require the application of cybersecurity skills introduced to employees at the beginning of the year during the training. User names and passwords are private and should not be shared and an employee is liable for whichever activity is associated with their accounts.
All employees are also advised to receive their new gadgets including laptops and tablets from their respective departments. It is important to be cautious using the devices because everything will be monitored by the hospital’s IT department.
