Promotion CLC Team Charter

Purpose

The group will develop the need statement and purpose of the project and identify the various alternatives that will address the need and purpose. This will help the project team in the selection of a course of action and preferred options. The solutions will consider the goals, issues, and concerns to find a proper balance in the competing interests.

Group Goals

Having a clear identification of the direction will prevent individuals from pulling from different directions, which is ineffective and frustrating. The Group Goals will focus on the significant aspects of the project and offer community perspectives on primary considerations and project deliverables. The main goal of the group is to work towards consensus on the desired alternatives.

Plans for Team Building

Team building is all about offering group’s training, expertise, and resources to work in harmony. The team building activities will focus on uniting and inspiring the team to focus on the shared vision and goal. The team-building process will include clarifying team goals, recognizing goal achievement barriers, enabling goal achievement, and facing identified barriers. Therefore, there shall be a straightforward approach to the team’s work, specific goals, mutual accountability and leadership structure to facilitate team functioning.

Process of Conflict Resolution

The first step will be defining the source of conflict or the cause of the problem. The second step will be looking beyond the incident to realize its impact. After identifying the impact, getting each party’s viewpoint will be essential in discovering how the situation can be changed. After requesting solutions, one will be recognized that both parties can support that. Finally, an agreement will be reached to prevent conflicts from occurring in future.

Project Management

The project management will be enacted through a project management lifecycle that consists of 5 phases; initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure. Applying knowledge, skills, methods, processes, and experience will facilitate the successful implementation of the 5 phases in project management.
