Hardy’s Christian Thought Theological Evolution
As much of the secular world pushes Christianity out of public settings such as school and work, it has a major impact to how our societies operate today. Christianity has several influencers and interpretations. Martin Luther was a pivotal figure during a time where work is deemed a survival necessity. Martin Luther went against the Medieval social teaching by shifting the concept of work to a calling to serve and praise God. His teachings were later supported by the Catholic church (Hardy, 1990 pp.47-51, 68). John Calvin is another historical figure which has influenced several denominations and aligns with Martin Luther on working to serve and praise God. However, he also merges work and contemplation on the same intellectual level by teaching there are times to work and times to listen (Hardy, 1990 pp.56-58). Through these reformers, social settings and methods of operations has changed to a service concept.
Harding (1990 pp. 72, 75-76) states that society has changed to comply with God’s work purpose, by work we serve and in doing so we bear God’s image through participating in His ongoing creation. Work is still perceived differently by various individuals. Some people will still consider it a lower level while many others consider it a blessing to service and provide. Our approach depends on our personal relationship with God on how we as individuals perceive life and work.
Employee Engagement/Retention
The level of employee performance is set on a relational foundation. The organization must provide employee engagement to enhance retention and performance as relationships are a two-way connection. The relationship between employees and companies influences individual motivation, satisfaction, and loyalty. The company provide benefits which support employee continual engagement and meeting performance expectations. For companies to gain the benefits of experience employees, they need to provide the competitive benefits to increase performance The influencers are motivation by providing individuals with meaningful work, competitive compensation, job satisfaction, and employee loyalty (Valentine. 2020 pp.155, 157-158,). By providing employee benefits, companies engage employees to support controlling indirect costs.
The human resource goal is to obtain and retain employees within a positive environment of high performers. To determine their success, the human resource teams develop metrics to identify trends related to employee turnover rates, total turnover costs, and retention factors. According to Valentine (2020 pp. 171-175), improving employee retentions increases skill levels and performance efficiencies through employee recognition, training availability, mentorship, work-life balance, providing individual feedback, and taking assessments through surveys and exit interviews. Relationships strengthens when all parties invest in the growth and development of the others. Technologies enable human resource teams to pull more date and enable them to tap into the self-determination each employee possesses which enhances motivation, personal goals, and the likelihood of addressing challenges (Rigby, & Ryan, 2018). Through understanding of self-determination and technology enhancements, the human resource leads are more equipped to influence change.
Employee Globalization
Globalization is more prevalent because of advancing technologies. Companies benefit from globalization by increasing diversity, extend sale, offset seasonal trends, access to additional talent pool, access to less expensive supplies, increase of economies of scale, and investment capital (Valentine, 2020 p. 573). As globalization strengthens, management has the increasing difficulty of managing cultures across geographical locations which has various labor laws, and union laws which must be followed. Global labor organizations such as the Union Network International focusing on addressing multinational cultures and implementing policies that is design to mitigate child labor, increase worker safety, worker health, and training (Valentine, 2020 p. 588). As globalization and technology advances, human resource tasks of identifying common grounds in ethical approaches become more challenging.
Some authors say the challenges that human resource team endure are continual generational change as various paces, communication emphasis is heightened to support individual and organizational operations to help facilitate improvement initiatives, managing increased complexities within diversity and sustainment, and several other areas requiring intervention of human resource teams (Cooke et al., 2019). As companies grow into globalization operation, it is imperative to maintain solid communication and standards for continual growth and sustainability.

ANSWER
Hardy’s Christian Thought Theological Evolution
The fact that the world is now a global village amplifies the union of so many people around the globe. People have been talking to other people whom they don’t even know and whom they have never met in real life and that is just the nature of human behavior wanting to connect with people and more so of diverse ethnicity. In this essence, the fact that several spiritual figures have played a major role in uniting the globe (Kurasz et al.,2021). It cannot be refuted that the legendary martin Luther king was among one of the people who played a major role in wanting to unite the earth through spiritual purpose and the cognitive abilities that he had (Kurasz et al.,2021). Martin Luther King emphasized the fact that all humans were brought to this earth to serve the sole purpose of abiding by his instructions and that each one of us has a role to play in the spreading of this message to the people who have not heard it yet (Kurasz et al.,2021).
The union of the globe as it was termed meant globalization as we term it these days only that it is now enhanced in ways we cannot even fathom. In the unification of the globe, it is important to apply this to the employee sector though this has been a major challenge for so many companies and so many employers to do. The unification has led to the employee being exposed to external threats like the need for perfection which as is known cannot be satisfied. With so many companies coming up every day, employees have been left with the burden of keeping the company’s image on point meaning getting burnt out. It has also helped the same employees since they can connect with the world better. One can tour the earth in the comfort of his or her workspace. Voicing out their grievance has also been an advantage to them.
