ANSWER
Research shows that childhood trauma has grown tremendously over the past decades. Childhood trauma is caused by various factors, for instance, the environment, school, home challenges, and discrimination by peers amongst other factors (Schäfer & Fisher, 2022). Some of the potential questions in regards to child factors include; why would a child get isolated from the others? What makes a child frightened? What causes a child to feel insecure? Questions arising from family factors include; why would a child get affected by the financial constraints of the family? What makes a child feel neglected? Why unreliable parenting skills is likely to lead to trauma? Questions arising from trauma factors include; how would a child react to family discrimination? What are the impacts of child neglect? How would a child react to financial constraints in the family?
Different reactions experienced in two children from a similar traumatic event can be caused by past encounters to similar or related traumatic events. The environment also plays a key role in the different reactions in regards to the subject topic. For instance, a child from a rich family reacting to family feuds will be different form that of a child from a humble family (Jaworska-Andryszewska & Rybakowski, 2019). Some of the traumatic responses witnessed in children include; feeling detached from the family, loosing hope, lack of concentration, and a sense of loneliness all the time. For instance, an orphaned kid who was abused by his aunt had to run away from home (Dye, 2018). I have in the past misinterpreted trauma as bad behavior, for instance, a child who didn’t want to associate with people only to find out that he had been neglected in the family. One of the most significant insights in childhood trauma is that most of the children tend to stay in isolation when traumatized. More questions in regards to managing childhood traumatic responses include; at what age is childhood trauma common? Why lack of exposure and courage affects trauma management in children?
