ANSWER
Persuasive Speech
Hello, I am happy to be standing on this platform today. I will start by asking you an obvious but essential question that many of us do not think about often. How many meals do you take per day, and have you ever thought of the origin of the food? As a school, I think it is important we start thinking about the future generations and how we as a generation trivialize the most important things. Agriculture is the backbone of any nation. Without agriculture, there is no economy. It is for this reason I advocate for the introduction of FFA classes in our school. Let us look at it this way, most of us eat food that we have no idea how it is grown or how long it grows.
If the older generation that is our parents disappeared from the phase of the earth today, and we were forced to fend for ourselves, how many of us would have any idea where to start? There is a high probability that we would starve because most of us have no background information on framing or agriculture at large. The introduction of FFA class in our school will give us students a hands-on experience as it will allow us to practice whatever we learn. Think about how fulfilling it will feel while you eat the beans that you planted while learning. In FFA class, we will not be learning using the internet or our textbooks. We will be using our hands to unleash our creativity on actual animals and plants. There are also unexplored careers in the agricultural path that one can pursue, and therefore, the addition of the class will expand our options. We need farmers as much as we need doctors, or engineers, or lawyers. Without farmers, we would starve, and therefore, I advocate for the FFA class.
