INCLUDE IN TEXT CITATIONS!!
ANSWER
While awareness of institutional sexual abuse has grown over the years, there is limited knowledge of its occurrence and outcomes as a form of abuse. Institutional sexual abuse is mainly affected by trauma at the individual, family and community level. For instance, let’s use school as an example of institution where the sexual abuse has taken place. Since this isa place where children learn, and if it involves one of the children, the allegation will be child sexual abuse which is illegal.
While investigating, research will have to take place if such an occurrence has taken place before in that institution. The suspect will undergo some texts to know that if he is of sobber mind and if he is, he will be detained as investigation proceeds. If there were people who knew or saw the incident happening will have to make a statement about it and when he is found to be guilty, he will receive his judgment. The victim is highly advice to stay around supportive people or even go for therapy for the trauma.
I believe the type of institution will make the institution less or more difficult. If the assault in a school, the matter is more likely to be fastened and investigation done quickly since most people tend to ignore adult sexual assault that takes place in different places such as prisons or even any other institution.
