They are faced with many responsibilities that have the overall impact of ensuring that the quality of healthcare is guaranteed. Some of the roles and responsibilities of healthcare managers include making policy decisions, working in cohesion with physicians, overseeing patient care, and accounting, among other roles (Niñerola et al., 2020). As stated, healthcare managers are tasked with ensuring that they enforce certain quality improvements within healthcare institutions. Quality improvements help impact healthcare in various ways. Quality improvement also helps develop a patient-centred care for patients, in terms of their relationship with caregivers (Mortimer et al., 2018). With advanced technologies, doctors have a better way of responding to the needs of their patients promptly. The use of AI systems enables physicians to gain insight into the information of their patients including their medical history, blood group, genetic history and potential future conditions. Through such systems. They are able to devise treatment programs that better suit the condition of their patients. This develops a sense of trust with the patients, thereby enhancing the patient-physician relationship and healthcare institutes that are centred on the needs of the patient.

Many institutions have identified the value of investing in their hospitals to improve the quality of care. This is considered a business case perspective of the quality of care, where more emphasis is put on the improvement of care with the expectations of financial results in the long haul (De La Perrelle et al., 2020). On the other hand, clinical cases entail the improvement of healthcare institutions, systems, physicians and necessary materials that help improve the quality of healthcare.
