Process Improvement Flowchart
The purpose of this assignment is to understand the flowchart improvement process. The flowchart of the as-is process and the improved flowchart process have been created and defining the metrics and measures of the current process. The improvement flowchart will focus on the hiring process and how the operational performance across the organization as a whole will improve.
The current hiring process consists of nine steps which include; evaluating need, identifying vacancy, developing a job description, establishing a recruitment plan as well as selecting a search committee (Hamilton and Davison, 2018). The other five steps include implementing the recruitment plan and posting a position, interviewing candidates, and developing the shortlist, selecting hire, conducting interviews, and finalizing recruitment. After measuring the current hiring process, the nine steps have failed to focus on areas that need more attention. For instance, the hiring process needs to be improved to meet the just-in-time production by ensuring that employees are in the work station when they are needed.
Process improvement techniques need to improve the hiring process. This will make sure that each department has a job position description that is already in place. Therefore, in case additional positions are required then the positions will be modified effectively. The organization should ensure that the recruitment plan is already established and should fit the economic demands and organizational needs of the organization.
The future improvement process will perform with regards to metrics that have been linked to the cause of the ineffective process. Allow more attention as well as evaluating aspects that indicate improvements that are more effective over time. For instance, reducing the unnecessary steps will enable additional where more time is needed to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the hiring process. Ideally, selecting a hire is essential when it comes to acquiring the right candidate to exceed organizational expectations and goals.
The flowchart improvement process includes the as-is process flowchart as well as the improvement flowchart process. The process is an application, interview, as well as onboard the hiring process. To lower the time spent in developing the aspects there is a need for the organization to develop the position description as well as the recruitment plan. The search committee should be used in identifying vacancies and screening the candidates before reaching the HR managers where they will be prescreened to evaluate the minimum qualifications to be met.

Relatively, it is important to examine the results of the process to see if the improvement plan addressed the current needs to meet future demands. The as-is flowchart process will be compared to the actual process to ensure that changes meet a new improved process. The flow chart process shows what happens to product production. It is important to evaluate the results to examine the improvement plan and how it addresses the current needs.
