ANSWER

M6 Dissemination of CQI Journal

Continuous quality improvement is a defined process that is focused on activities that are focused on the community and improving the population’s health. As a nurse, it is important to ensure that the Continuous quality improvement activities are familiar to the stakeholders. Some of the stakeholders in the telemedicine plan to reduce the number of no-shows include nurses and doctors (O’Donnell & Gupta, 2022). I would call for a meeting with the healthcare practitioners and use a PowerPoint presentation to convince them that telemedicine is one way of reducing the number of missed appointments.

Most healthcare practitioners might find it hard to buy the idea that telemedicine could be a solution to missed appointments. This means I will have to look for evidence that proves that online appointments could help the patients, especially those who want to keep their health appointments private. It would also save patients the time and money they spend commuting to the hospital. I will use other resources such as social media to show them how telemedicine would be helpful in ensuring that the number of missed appointments is reduced.

I will also use surveys. Healthcare practitioners can use questionnaires with their patients on the kind of improvements they would like in their appointments (Brown et al., 2017). Patients will be asked whether they prefer attending online appointments or coming physically for their appointments. The results gotten from the surveys will be analyzed during healthcare practitioner meetings. The nurses and the doctors will analyze the results of the surveys and the evidence provided, and if the results are satisfactory to them, the CQI process will begin (Rabin & Brownson, 2017). It is important to involve the stakeholders and effectively communicate with all the healthcare practitioners as they are responsible for the health appointments.
