1.) I would personally say that the only benefit for her would be that now she’s does not have to worry about keeping up with the repairs of her 11 year-old car. The draw back would be that, once she finalized everything there’s an inquiry on her credit and secondly she has never seen the car with her own eyes. I don’t see anything positive in buying a car online. Other items as such, I feel are much less stressful to buy online, let’s say a pair shoes, that’s not too big of a gamble like a vehicle. A vehicle requires credit, financing and depending on the car it could cost sometimes 6 figures. If something was to go wrong with a six figure purchase that’s nothing to be screwed up with. Now a pair of shoes which should be pretty inexpensive you would not have to worry that much about it, it would not affect you as much as a car would.

3.) For me I don’t really see too many benefits just drawbacks. Drawbacks such as security. Meaning, is the website legit, is the dealership credible. Things such as that you would never know from a computer screen. Next would be the car, only seeing the car online such as pictures, videos and that’s it. Not knowing whether the photos are fake, if not fake; then old.

Hello Harris, the only benefit that online car buying is giving her is that she now has a new car and does not have to deal with the car repairs. Apart from that, buying a car online is risky. It is easy to get conned by purchasing a car online. She could also buy a poor-quality vehicle or a model that she did not want. Some things like cars are better bought from the shop and not online. A car is one of those things.

I respect that you did not find any additional factors to add to the issue of online car buying, but there are factors such as buying something that does not exist. Online buying can be complex, and thus buying a car online has more drawbacks than benefits. If there is an issue with the purchase, she will likely lose her money.

I agree with you there are many drawbacks to buying a car online. There are, however, some advantages such as efficiency. Buying a car online will save her time and energy as all the transactions will be online. There is, however, the drawback of security as the buyer cannot know whether the website is fake or not, and thus it is easier to be conned.
