2006 Immigrants Rights May Day Protests
The movement was active in the year 2006. The group leading the movement was immigrants into the United States especially of Latino descent. The purpose was to protest the proposed change on the U.S immigration policy.
Black Lives Matter LA Encampment
The movement was active in 2016 and sprung again in 2020. The leading group was African Americans. The purpose was to protest police brutality against African Americans that had seen several black men die while pleading that they could not breathe under a police chokehold.
Dakota Pipeline Protests
The movement was active in 2016. It was led by the residents of North Dakota and Southern Illinois. The people protested the development of a pipeline designed to cross Missouri and Mississippi Rivers where they felt that such a project would contaminate their water.

The movement was active in the year 2006. It involved immigrants in the United States. The protest was directed at a modification of immigrant rights.
