The project management plan I created was for Apple TV+. There are many different types of technology that go into the service. The key technologies would be filing equipment, the internet, and a network to upload the content. The advancements of all three types of technologies is crucial to the success of the service. I would not do anything differently during the design and development work.

This project has helped me prepare for my remaining educational experiences professional life. It has helped show me the depth of projects. There is a lot more to projects behind the scenes than I originally thought. I will use everything I learned in this class throughout my professional career.

As the project came towards an end we needed to implement a back up plan for our product and service, and it helped me realize that another option to a pet health and fitness tracker is the improvement in Microchips. Many pets get microchip for when they get lost, but it only contains information such as the pets name and owner information. But as technology advances and we implement an idea that allows tracking of pet vitals, we could utilize this technology to update microchips to track similar information through simple scanning methods. Movies show the concept of electronic data being intertwined with our anatomy all the time, I think with time this will happen, and I think it will start with our pets.

To develop this microchip system it would be similar to the tracking collar, which would allow communications to develop between the microchip and a phone application to allow people to directly interact with the pet. It may even allow voice commands by the time this could be implemented. With this being a mostly futuristic idea, it is tough to fully determine the development process. But it is something people are in the process of trying to figure out to reduce the number of wires attached to patients (Scharping, 2019).

The main thing this project has done, is help me think outside the box for any marketing or expansion ideas for my business. I recently became a veterinary practice manager and it is still new for me to take the lead at expanding our hospital. With this project it has helped outline some of the concepts of how to operate a business and project ideas. It is through operations management that you learn how to properly organize and plan projects (Sanders, 2014). It is through operations management that you get a better idea of the customers wants and needs and learn how to expand a business based on this information.

Hello Robert, creating a project management plan for Apple TV+ is exciting and knowledgeable.  The chosen technologies highlight all the crucial aspects of the business idea, namely the need for internet, network, and uploading of content. I would recommend the adoption of BI and Analytics Tools to keep track of the big data, the performance of the strategies adopted and meeting customer and corporate needs. I agree with you that this eight-week course has enabled each of us to have in-depth knowledge of project management. The skills and knowledge acquired will allow us to plan, organize, and manage all projects given to us in the workplace.

Hello Jillian, I agree with you that studying this course enables on to think ‘outside the box’ when managing business ideas and projects. It prepares one to take up new projects as identified in your post, and the learned concepts act as guidelines to operate businesses and expand the project ideas. I agree with you on implementing a contingency or back up plan in case the product, service, or business idea is compromised. Besides, the management strategy of the technologies identified is effective as technologies keep changing and evolving. In addition, effective change management strategies should be adopted to ensure the flexibility and adaptability of the project. This will help control any issues related to changes and technology advancement.
