Sexual Education Should Be Mandatory In Schools

1. Sexual Education, a sensitive subject
2. Sexual education continues to be a controversial subject in America. Controversy emerges around positive or harmful sex education. However, when the country’s only 13 states mandate that sex education be medically valid, much is left to interpretation in adolescent health literacy. Research released by the Public Library of Science indicates that students become better educated, make healthy decisions and have healthier results when sex education is detailed, leading to less unintended pregnancies and more protection towards sexually transmitted infections.
3. Sex education should be about life skills (St Onge, T. 2012). In the rest a young student’s life there are so many things to consider but he / she only gets it once or twice in school. Even though several teenagers obtain knowledge about sexual wellbeing from outlets apart from school; parents, friends, healthcare providers, social networks, and contemporary culture. Nevertheless, public schools are the perfect place for teenagers to gather formal education.
4. Sexual education will eliminate cases of HIV / AIDs, STIs, underage pregnancy and illegal abortions in significant measure
5. The teenagers will learn to take conscious decisions.  Therefore, sexual education for students in secondary schools should be compulsory, so that youngsters mature up to recognize their sexuality.

All schools should have armed security guards

1. School need armed guards to protect children from crime
2. Armed guards should be in schools because while teachers keep a lot of children in line, there are some who will not listen when they get detained or spoken to by the school head. Using more armed guards will reduce school crimes and that will make children feel secure (Trotter, 2005)..
3. When more armed guards are in schools, the attacker is less likely to cause a shooting.
4. Very many occurrences of injured or killed children and adults in schools have been encountered due to attacks from criminals. To stop this situation from occurring more often, the response in the schools should be prompt and fast, employing armed guards. It is very clear that if we want to stay secure we need armed guards in our schools.
5. Armed guards in schools would give a sense of protection to everyone
6. Teachers and students will feel safer if there were more armed guards available. This could be incredibly important whenever anyone were to show up with a gun. There should be more than one guard in a school such that whenever anything happen, the guards are able to handle it jointly.
7. Getting armed protection reduces students’ chance of causing bust on school premises, or any third-party source. It also ensure that violent actions are reduced on school grounds.

All students should have an after-school job or internship

3. A job could foster esteem and autonomy for a teenager. When he/she interacts with clients, he/she can learn how to manage tough conditions as well as develop his/her interpersonal skills

5. An after-school job can make a teenager develop work skills like how to execute a job application, how to perform during an interview, and how to work with others.
6. Less Time to Get Into Trouble
7. If your teen heads straight from school to a job, it shortens the amount of free time she has to engage in risky behaviors. She’ll be less likely to be bored when a job keeps her busy.

• Insight Into a Future Job:

1. A good job can give a teenager valuable insight into what he/she may want to do after high school. She/he may discover he/she enjoys working with people or she might decide that she wants to own a business.

In conclusion all these three topics discussed above will enable a teenager to grow healthier, safe and secure in the society as he/she approaches future life of adulthood. Therefore, a consideration and measures should be put in place to ensure they are implemented.
