Tactical command control SOP (TAC CP SOP)

1. Command

The command leaders are responsible for effectively using the resources and employing, planning, and directing the soldiers during the command operations. The succession of command will be

• Leaders
• Sergeant
• The prominent effort squad leader
• Supporting effort leaders with different ranks

2. Control

The challenge of the leaders is ensuring minimal control is needed for synchronizing the critical operations while still making it possible for decision making.

3. Coordination

Adjacent unit coordination is often accomplished from left to right and from the front gear. The coordination of the unit is customarily conducted face to face when possible. The process of coordination involve ensuring that every member of the combat is at the same level of understanding. Some of the information exchanged during the coordination of the adjacent units includes

• Unit identification
• Mission
• Unit location
• Frequencies and call signs
• Security plans.

4. Communication (Command Briefing)

The leaders are charged with communication. This includes sharing the curial information with the combat members before, during, and after given combat. The data can consist of tactical methods and safety measures. In line with the WFF mitigation, the communication process is the most important as it involves sharing information in all aspects of combat.

Duties and roles of the Operations SGM & Assistant Operations SGM

Operations SGM

• They are a senior noncommissioned officer in the CP responsible for monitoring and supervising the performances of the enlisted.
• The operations SGM assists the commander in the disciplines and welfare of the enlisted men.

Assistant Operations SGM

• Has the responsibilities of requesting, receiving, storing, and issuing expendable supplies with the command operations.
• Links the Operational SGM to the other command members, such as sergeants and junior officers.
