ANSWER

Having done my Nursing practice exam, I managed to score a 48/100 which I was not so happy with because it’s below average. The test contained both multiple choices in some questions while others were essay questions. I was able to perform well in certain topics such as Psychology and Chemistry. I also did well in answering the multiple choice questions since I did not fail in any of it. In my overall test-taking, I ran out of time especially when writing the essays and I should really look into that. The remedy to this is to avoid starting with difficult questions and first attempt the easy ones so that you would already sure of getting good marks and later on attempting the difficult ones.

I also need to study more on specific topics specifically on Women Health as the questions were quite challenging both on essay and multiple choice questions. I did the question format wrong and ended up not getting marks for it hence need to urgently look into that.

SPECIFIC GOALS

• To focus more on specific areas that I am having a hard time with like on women Health.
• To work on my exam speed since I noticed I am slow and thus I was not able to complete exam by participating in online speed tests from learning websites.
• To ask for more assistance from my classmates ,lecturer and also participate in discussion groups to improve my grades
• To start having remedial classes with a tutor to help improve my grade.s

STUDY PLAN

• Have study partners- this will help especially on weak areas since it will be like being tutored.
• Have weekly speed tests- it will be able to help avoid running out of time during my exams.
• Study more on weak topics- It will help you have strength in it because of constantly reading on the topic.
• Online Study- will help on further research on everything since the internet has information on a lot of things.

TIMETABLE

I will be able to measure my weakly progress by doing tests by the end of the week on the topics I have been able to cover. This will help me to Identify on my areas of weakness and strength.

RESOURCES

1. Participating in study groups– this will hep me be able to get different views on topics and also one has room to asks questions on challenging questions.
2. Using mneumonics- this will help me be able to summarize a lot under a short period of time an in an easy way.
3. Online library/study- it will help when I’m trying to get more information about a certain area hence easy understanding.
