The plans have different functions, ranging from collecting information to transmitting a patient’s electronic medical records. Examples of healthcare information systems include electronic health records, practice management software, patient portals, and a master patient index. The implementation processes of such a system are complex and must be completed with the best technicians (Sahay). Components such as tailoring the approach to upload safe, high-quality patient care and maintaining contingency plans are factors needing active support from the healthcare management. The administration ought to provide the people involved with such implementation with the necessary help to accomplish the mission effectively.
