The main intention of environmental protection is to conserve natural resources and the existing natural surroundings. There is a lot of degradation attributed to overconsumption pressure, technology growth, and population increase. This has been discovered, and it is the right time to implement working policies and other measures on all activities degrading the environment. Therefore, this persuasive paper will highlight some of the advantages and necessities of protecting the environment.

Personally, the environment provides a lot to human beings and other creatures; therefore, it is significant for people to protect what serves them with diverse advantages. Our surroundings are changing every day as the ways people stay, consume, and produce goods evolve. This engages the emerging transport infrastructures, water treatment plants, and building of new houses. All these developments have hindered the natural environment, and it is suitable for various institutions and people to cooperate in embracing mechanisms meant to enhance the environment. Serious environmental problems have been on the rise because of irreversible degradation. They have put people’s health, quality of life, and safety in severe danger.

There are three essential policies or processes that should be initiated towards the fight to protect the environment. The first one should engage freedom to information and other significant data on environmental issues, the right in shaping decisions affecting one’s environment, and the right to justice upon failure to observe these rules. Together, these actions will create the idea of environmental democracy and put environmental responsibilities and freedom in the hands of the citizens. This also makes it convenient for the organizations involved in the fight to design and plan for new developments to public participation on how to face climate change issues.

In summary, everyone should be motivated to participate in environmental preservation since this initiative has diverse advantages. The state of the environment plays a significant role in general human health. Everyone wants to live in healthy surroundings, and outdoor air pollution can result in harmful ailments, including asthma and bronchitis. People should also protect their natural resources, which are limited and this, in turn, affects the sustainability of the communities (Okonkwo, 2017). Creating renewable choices and making sustainable actions is the only appropriate way of preserving these critical resources. This implies consuming fewer plastics, choosing eco-friendly items, and reducing food waste. All these are simple steps that people should include in their life.

I believe the environment plays an essential role in a human being’s wellness and food source. Therefore, everyone should think about the environment that surrounds them and remember that it belongs to them; it is their environment. It is critical to play an active role in deciding if and how it changes for present and future generations (Hassan, 2017). Planting trees should be an objective for all people because it is one of the fundamental ways of keeping the environment green. Various nations internationally have made voluntary environmental agreements that present a platform for industries to be acknowledged for growing beyond the expected regulatory standards and therefore embrace the growth of the best environmental practice.
